Social Sports Ecosystem

Find your game. Find your people.

Air Volleyball brings people together through regular play. Come for the game, return for the friendships, and find a community that becomes part of your life.

Your journey as a player

  1. Discover

Find a group and a time that work for you.

  2. Play

Join at your own pace and develop your skills.

  3. Connect

Get to know people by playing together regularly.

  4. Belong

Build friendships and a routine you look forward to.

Enjoy being a player for as long as you like. You can also explore other groups, welcome a newcomer, lend a hand or, if you want, organise something yourself.

Your journey as an organiser

  1. Start

Bring a few people together at a regular time.

  2. Build

Create welcoming sessions people want to return to.

  3. Sustain

Keep fees clear and affordable, and recognise the time and work of organising. Returns depend on local costs and participation.

  4. Connect

Share ideas and opportunities with other independent groups.

  5. Grow

Help new organisers start their own groups when they are ready.

Independent communities, connected together

Clubs, associations and leagues run their own activities and make their own decisions. Players are free to take part across organisations. Sharing experience and welcoming one another creates more choice for everyone.

  1. Players + organisers
  2. A welcoming local group
  3. Independent groups sharing ideas and opportunities

A community should give something back to everyone

Players bring time, energy and encouragement. Organisers bring planning, care and leadership. Both should gain friendships, enjoyment and a reason to return; organising can also bring recognition and a sustainable reward for the work involved.

Air Volleyball is widely played in China, with regular overseas community sessions in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. Connecting more cities and countries is a direction for growth, not a promise that a group already exists everywhere.
